Unbound by the constraints of a single varietal, Yettalil is the fullest expression of our Stags Leap District Estate. A blend of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine is also supported by Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot.
Yettalil combines the collaborative expertise and skill of our winegrowing and winemaking teams, an endeavor where our technical knowledge of farming and oenology take center stage. Hand-harvesting at night allows us to preserve the flavor, acidity, and purity of the fruit. In the cellar, each block is aged individually until the early summer, when the Yettalil blend is composed. We then put the wine back in barrel, allowing it to age longer as a complete blend, creating balance and harmony.
